Central Java Police Chief: 27 Out Of 576 Sub-districts Don't Have A Police Sector
Central Java - Central Java (Central Java) Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said as many as 27 of the 576 sub-districts in Central Java do not yet have a Sector Police or Sector Police office.
"However, thanks to the acceleration by the rena bureau that has been approved by the Minister of Administrative Reform/RB for the formation of 14 Sub-sectoral Police in Central Java spread across eight Polres (Police Resort)," said the Central Java Police Chief after inaugurating 14 Sub-Sectoral Police in Central Java, which was centered in Batang, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 4.
Inspector General of Police Ahmad hopes that in the future for sub-districts that do not yet have a police station or Sub-sectoral police office can be fulfilled.
Specifically in Central Java, he said, the Regional Police or Regional Police have 576 sub-district administrative areas and only 553 Polsek.
"We will fulfill the steps (sub-districts) that have no police stations yet," he added.
Ahmad Luthfi said the Sub-sectoral Police could increase to Polsek after undergoing accreditation for a year.
The purpose of the construction of the Kandeman Sub-sector police, he said, was so that the Bhayangkara Corps could get closer to the community in the local area.
"The size of this police depends on the community around the police being present," he said.
With the establishment of large companies in Batang Regency, according to Inspector General Pol Ahmad, the Kandeman Sub-sector Police can immediately become Polsek.
"Of course, the construction of the Kandeman Sub-sectoral Police will give a new spirit to members of the National Police to be at the forefront in order to provide security and security services to the community," he said.
