It is of course accompanied by a certificate which if it does not exist it (certificate) means it is illegal," he said.The Ministry of Environment and Forestry explained that activities to maintain protected wildlife without a permit could endanger the safety and health of their owners. Even though they have been treated for a long time, these animals still have wild and wild nature towards humans in certain situations.In addition, animals can be a medium for disease spread for humans. Although the potential for animals to infect humans is greater, it is possible that humans can also transmit disease to animals.Animal maintenance for pleasure purposes has been regulated in Article 37 of Government Regulation Number 8 of 1999 concerning the use of wild plants and animals (TSL).The regulation explains that wild plants and animals for maintenance purposes for pleasure can be carried out on unprotected species, and that breeding activities for protected and unprotected wildlife are regulated in Minister of Forestry Regulation Number 19 of 2005 concerning captive breeding of wild plants and animals, said Nandang Prihadi.
