Cirebon Prosecutor's Office is Still Processing 4 Riol Water Pump Corruption Suspects
CIREBON - The District Attorney of Cirebon City, West Java, is still processing four suspects in the real estate of Riol pump corruption case, which is currently in phase two of prosecution.
"The real estate pump corruption case has entered phase two, the process has already been prosecuted", said Head of Intelligence at the Cirebon City Attorney's Office, Slamet Haryadi, in Cirebon, Antara, Tuesday, September 27.
According to him, the case has not yet entered the trial stage in court, because the officers are still conducting investigations, and have just delegated it from the investigating prosecutor to the public prosecutor, specifically in the special criminal field.
The four suspects in the Riol pump corruption case consisted of two state civil servants (ASN), namely the Kesambi sub-district head with the initials WS, and the Head of Regional Property (BMD), the LT Financial and Regional Revenue Management Agency (BPKPD), and two others from the private sector, namely PR and AN.
Slamet said the Cirebon Kejari had indeed extended the period of detention again, this was because the detention period had expired. "We are extending his detention period again. This is by the law", he said.
Meanwhile, the attorney for the suspected real corruption case with the initials LT, Erdi Djati Soemantri, said that his party was filing a pretrial regarding the determination of his client's suspect, and today Tuesday, September 27 the verdict would be read out.
According to Erdi, his client certainly did not commit corruption as the State Prosecutor's Office alleged, even from the Cirebon City Inspectorate Letter, that the state had not suffered any losses in the real water pump case.
