NTT Police Take Over Investigation of Fraud Cases for Procurement of Liveable Houses
KUPANG - The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police has taken over the investigation into a fraud case involving the procurement of livable housing by several people acting on behalf of political party volunteers.
"So later all the cases will be transferred to the NTT Police for further handling", said Head of Public Relations of the NTT Regional Police, Commissioner Ariasandy in Kupang, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 20.
The alleged fraud case on behalf of the PDI-P did not only occur in Southwest Sumba but also occurred in several areas in NTT, such as on the island of Timor and Flores.
"So the location is in Southwest Sumba, then some time ago also in South Central Timor Regency (TTS) and North Central Timor Regency (TTU)", he said.
Given the location of the fraud in several areas, he said, this is the reason why the NTT Police are planning to take over the case.
