JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Dr. Moeldoko appreciates the hard work of the 2021 COVID-19 claim payment team. According to him, the team consisting of the Presidential Staff Office, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, and BPJS has completed payment of claims for COVID-19 according to President Joko Widodo's direction.
Moeldoko said that the COVID-19 claim in 2021 was Rp. 25.1 trillion. Of this amount, the claim that has been paid by the Ministry of Health is Rp. 22.361 trillion for 3,928 hospitals. Meanwhile, which is still in the verification process of Rp. 1,133 trillion.

Moeldoko requested that COVID-19 claims that are still in the verification process can be completed immediately, so as not to interfere with the operation of hospitals hospitals that provide services to COVID-19 patients.
"We have to understand, for this hospital it is not easy. On the one hand, they have social responsibility, but on the other hand they also have to carry out administrative tasks for verification needs. I ask that this can be made easier, and give certainty to hospitals to pay for these COVID-19 claims," said Moeldoko.
On that occasion, Moeldoko again encouraged the acceleration of the disbursement of non-tax state revenue funds (PNBP) for TNI health facilities. This is because the problem with the disbursement of PNBP funds of Rp. 705 billion has affected health services at TNI health facilities.
