Point Of Fall Of The Indonesian Navy's Bonanza Training Aircraft Was Found, The Submission Process Was Performed

JAKARTA - The Commander of the Naval Aviation Center or Danpuspenerbal Rear Admiral TNI Dwika Tjahja Setiawan said the search team found the point of the crash of the G-36 Bonanza T-2503 aircraft belonging to the Indonesian Navy.

"Currently the team is still searching the location where our training aircraft crashed. As of this afternoon, developments in the field have found the point of the plane's crash which is suspected to be the aircraft's framework. Currently, it is still in the process of carrying out the dive," Dwika said at a press conference at the Naval Headquarters (Mabesal), Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday 7 September.

Regarding the possible cause of the plane crash, he said, the Indonesian Navy is still investigating through the investigation team that has been dispatched.

According to him, the cause of the crash of the plane can only be known after the plane is found and identification is carried out. He said that until now the condition of the pilot and co-pilot is still uncertain.

"It is possible that until the divers who carry out the aid can actually find and report the condition of the pilots. There are 2 crew members, pilots and co-pilots," said Dwika.

He said that currently the Indonesian Navy has deployed 7 KRIs, 1 CN235 Aircraft, 2 helicopters, 2 KALs, 2 Kopaska teams, and 2 diving teams to search and rescue.

The rescue, he continued, was led directly by Pangkoarmada II and the Commander of Guspurla Koarmada II.

The accident that occurred on the G-36 Bonanza T-2503 plane belonging to the Indonesian Navy occurred today, Wednesday, September 7, at around 09.30 WIB.

The plane crashed at the West Pelayaran Alur Surabaya (APBS), namely in the waters of the Madura Strait Sea or between the districts of Bangkalan Madura and Gresik, East Java.

The plane had an accident while carrying out the Fleet II Adex Exercise with elements of KRI-KRI in the ranks of Koarmada II.

It is known that the plane was flown by Marine First Lieutenant Pilot (P) Judistira Eka Permady and Marine Lieutenant Ropilot (P) Dendy Kresna Bhakti. Regarding the chronology, namely at 08.45 WIB the Indonesian Navy's training plane took off from Juanda Airport with the route Sub-(Armada) Local Area-Sub.

Then, at 08.55 WIB the train aircraft belonging to the Indonesian Navy type Bonanza G-36 lost contact in the waters of the Madura Strait Sea.
