Day 5 Of The Search, 12 Year Old Boy Who Drowned In Indramayu Still Hasn't Been Found
INDRAMAYU - The joint SAR team still has not found any signs of Muhamad Rizki's presence on the fifth day of the search. The 12-year-old boy was dragged by the waves and drowned on the Mekarsari Village Beach, Indramayu Regency, West Java.
"Until the fifth day, we are still looking for it, even though the weather and conditions on the ground are changing as the afternoon approaches the afternoon," said Head of the Operations and Standby Section of the Bandung SAR Office, Supriono, via a written message, Thursday, August 25.
Supriono said the joint SAR team was experiencing problems, especially the weather, where every afternoon the wind got stronger and the waves got higher.
Even the wind speed at the scene is estimated at 10 to 15 knots and wave heights ranging from 1.5 meters to 2 meters.
"Despite our obstacles, the joint SAR team is still conducting searches using LCR," he said.
He added that the joint SAR team was continuing to search for victims by conducting sweeps using 3 LCR units from the Basarnas, the Indramayu Regency BPBD, and the Indramayu Police Satpolairud, as well as the Type C-VIII Patrol Vessel DitPolairud Polda Jabar.
Based on the planned search operation on the 5th day, the joint SAR Team was divided into 3 SRUs, SRU 1 carried out a water sweep from Plenthong Beach to Patimban Port using the Basarnas LCR.
Then SRU 2 sweeps water from the Sumur Adem PLTU to Plenthong Beach using the Satpolairud LCR and SRU 3 conducts a water sweep from the incident location to the Sumur Adem PLTU at coordinates using the BPBD LCR.
The SAR elements involved included the Bandung Basarnas, the Cirebon SAR Post, the West Java Police DitPolair, the Indonesian Navy Posmat Eretan Wetan, the Indramayu Police Satpolairud, the Anjatan Koramil, the Patrol Police, the Indramayu Regency BPBD.
