SAR Team Evacuates An Injured French Rolled By Waves In Nusa Penida Bali

KLUNGKUNG - The joint SAR team evacuated French Caucasian Jean Pascal Rabot who was injured due to being rolled by the waves while swimming at Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali.

Head of the Bali Basarnas Office, Gede Darmada, said the victim received an injury to his left arm and required evacuation assistance.

"We received the report at 13.50 p.m. Central Indonesian Time (WITA) from Mr. Made Windu who is a guide," said Darmada, Wednesday, August 24.

According to the report, 4 personnel and one medical personnel from the Nusa Medika clinic were deployed.

"We are moving by sea, because the terrain at the Kelingking Beach tourist attraction is very difficult to evacuate victims by land," he said.

"We swam and lowered rescuers to the beach and then they were treated," he continued.

After being evacuated, the French Caucasians were taken. After that the French Caucasians were taken to Nusa Medika.

"Our victims are evacuated to the port and then taken to the Nusa Medika clinic to get help or further treatment," he said.
