Tanjung Perak Surabaya Police Reveals Circulation Of 36.3 Kg Of Methamphetamine

SURABAYA - The Tanjung Perak Port Police, Surabaya, East Java, revealed the distribution of 36.3 kilograms of methamphetamine weighing 36.3 kilograms and also arrested a gang of three traffickers.

Tanjung Perak Surabaya Police Head, AKBP Anton Elfrino Trisanto, in Surabaya on Tuesday, named three suspects, Yudi Astono and Agus Wahyurianto, residents of Surabaya City, and Juni Tri Wahyudin, residents of Mojokerto.

The three dealers knew each other and each had a different role, ranging from suppliers, and dealers, to hoarders of methamphetamine.

In this case, shabu-shabu weighing a total of 36.3 kg which was secured by the police was mostly found in stockpiles, in the Mojokerto area.

Of the three perpetrators, said Police Chief Anton, his party also secured evidence in the form of 4,997 ecstasy pills and 11,509,000 Koplo pills.

"Although the perpetrators we arrested knew each other, the distribution was based on a mining system, that is, they did not know each other with buyers in the East Java region, from Surabaya, Sidoarjo to Kediri," he said as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 16.

Meanwhile, information on illegal goods was obtained from a dealer with the initials S, who is currently on the wanted list (DPO).

"The hoarding place in Mojokerto belongs to the perpetrator Juni Tri Wahyudin, there is still a family relationship with Bandar S, namely his brother-in-law," said AKBP Anton.

Bandar S is suspected of being linked to an international network of meth dealers from China.

The police ensure that they continue to develop their investigations to reveal the other perpetrators involved.

The police ensnared the perpetrators with Article 114 subsidiary Article 112 jo 132 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 196, Article 98, and 197 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health.
