ID Food Optimizes Sea Toll Road For Distribution Of 744,000 Liters Of Cooking Oil To Eastern Indonesia

JAKARTA - The State-Owned Food Holding company ID FOOD is committed to optimizing the marine highway facility in distributing 744 thousand liters of packaged cooking oil for the people of Oilita to eastern Indonesia.

"We are optimizing the sea toll facilities to meet the availability of people's packaged cooking oil for Eastern Indonesia from Kupang, Timika, and Merauke", said Frans Marganda Tambunan, President Director of ID FOOD Food Holdings in a written statement, Friday, August 12.

Frans continued, his party sent people's packaged cooking oil with the Oilita brand to meet the availability of migrant food through the support of the sea toll as many as 40 containers or a total of 669.6 tons (744,000 liters).

In detail, the destination is Kupang as many as 21 containers or 351.5 tons (390,600 liters), Timika with 6 containers 3 or 100.5 tons (111,600 liters), and Merauke with 13 containers or 217.7 tons (241,800 liters).

"The distribution of cooking oil is also a gift from the Food Enterprises for Indonesia in the framework of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia as our commitment to equitable distribution of food availability to meet the needs of the community and the momentum of Independence as an effort to advance Indonesian food", he explained.

Frans said that in remote eastern Indonesia, there is still a deficit in the availability of cooking oil and this distribution is an effort to distribute cooking oil food evenly to remote parts of the country.

As of August 2022, ID Food Group has 63.25 million liters spread across several locations throughout Indonesia.

For your information, the distribution of cooking oil to Eastern Indonesia was symbolically carried out directly by the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, the National Food Agency, Directors of Food Holding ID Food, and related business stakeholders on Thursday, August 11.
