Registering Gerindra To The KPU, Prabowo Subianto Mentions The Country On The Verge Of Destruction Without Peace

JAKARTA - The Gerindra Party has officially registered as a candidate for the 2024 General Election with the General Elections Commission (KPU). This registration was carried out directly by General Chair Prabowo Subianto.

"We are the 17th party, I asked the secretary general when it was 15.20 and I signed it," Prabowo said in his remarks at the KPU building, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jakarta, Monday, August 8.

According to Prabowo, the registration of political parties to the KPU is an important process. As is well known, he said, democracy is the choice of the Indonesian people where the people determine through the vote of power given. "That's why we have come to register, carry out our constitutional duties to serve the country and nation and share responsibility for the future of the people," said Prabowo. . The Minister of Defense did not forget to thank the KPU which he said had a heavy and sacred responsibility. That's why we came, we obey all the provisions, if there are any shortcomings, please correct them, we will correct them if necessary," Prabowo said. Prabowo then touched on the history of national civilization. According to him, a successful nation is a nation whose people are prosperous but not necessarily rich. Because being rich without justice shows a failed state.

Prabowo also reminded the nation to unite to create coolness, security and peace. Because he said, the country will be destroyed if there is no peace.

"President Jokowi has reminded us that the whole world is experiencing difficulties, even the world's international institutions have warned that the world is full of dangers. Therefore, the Indonesian people must be cool, united, compete well and hard, complain about programs. The goal is one, the nation and the people enjoy security, safe from hunger, poverty, safe from the dangers of a pandemic and all. That's our goal, we may have different parties, but all the children of the Indonesian nation, "said Prabowo.

"History teaches that only with true democracy the people can be calm. With tranquility the people can manage, especially the economy and its defense. We see the condition of the whole world without peace, without coolness, without cohesion, without cohesiveness, the nation is difficult to survive, many countries are on the verge of collapse ," he continued.
