Police Identify Bodies Wrapped In Duct Tape In Indramayu

CIREBON - Indramayu Police Criminal Investigation Unit, West Java Regional Police managed to identify a body wrapped in duct tape found in the irrigation canal of Pekandangan Village, after an autopsy was performed.

"If the identity is already there," said Kasatreskrim Indramayu Police AKP Fitran Romajimah as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 27.

When confirmed, he confirmed the body had been identified. However, in writing, the results of the autopsy have not yet come out.

"Not in writing yet," he said.

Head of Public Relations of the Indramayu Police, Iptu Didi Wahyudi, when asked for a separate statement, said that the discovery of the body had been handled by the Indramayu Police Satreskrim, and also the West Java Police Direskrimum.

"We are trying to ask the leadership first regarding the identity of the victim," said Didi.

On Monday (25/7), residents of Pekandangan Village, Indramayu District/Regency were shocked by the discovery of a corpse wrapped in duct tape on the face, hands and feet.

The body has now been identified, from the data obtained for the identity of the victim on behalf of Widodo, 54 years old, a resident of North Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.

Currently the victim has been brought by the family to be buried in his hometown in Wonogiri Regency, Central Java.
