Police Will Disband 'SCBD' Teens In Sudirman Area If Still Gathering After 10 PM
JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police will disperse Gen Z teenagers Sudirman Citayam Bojonggede Depok (SCBD) who are still gathering in public spaces in the Dukuh Atas area, Central Jakarta, if they exceed 22.00 western Indonesia time.
The Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Komarudin, said that his party would take firm action against the teenagers if they were still at the location until late at night beyond the specified time limit.
"We make sure that we will expel reckless teenagers so they can return to their homes," said Grand Commissioner Komarudin when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, July 14.
Grand Commissioner Komarudin also appealed to the public not to hang out beyond the curfew. Meanwhile, there are no sanctions for teenagers who are found to be hanging out.
"There are no sanctions at this time, only an appeal. This step is to prevent unwanted things from happening if you hang out late at night," he said.

Furthermore, Grand Commissioner Komarudin said his party would educate parents to pay more attention to their children. The reason is, that the role of parents, in this case, is very important for supervision.
"We will do the most important thing is education, for parents. Moreover, we see quite a lot of underage children. We hope that parents learn, and participate in supervising their children, so that these teenagers do not get involved with outside activities," he said.
In addition, the Chief of Police assesses that the Dukuh Atas area is currently a place that needs special attention. For this reason, his party will take firm action against the perpetrators of criminal acts in the special area.
