At First, Like A Bat With A Celurit, He Wanted To Get Into A Fight At The Prumpung TPU, He Met This Student Police Who Pretended To Wash The Residents' Dishes
JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Metro Police Pioneer Patrol Team arrested 13 school-age teenagers who were about to engage in a brawl at the Prumpung Public Cemetery (TPU), Jatinegara, East Jakarta.
Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Patrol Team, Ipda Aman Widodo, said his party was following up on reports from the public regarding youths who were about to engage in brawls.
"There were reports from the public at around 16.15 WIB. Then we headed to the Prumpung TPU. It turned out that they had already fled and we arrested 13 teenagers," said Aman Widodo in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, July 12.
Aman added that one of the teenagers involved in the brawl had tried to evade the officers when he was about to be arrested by pretending to wash the dishes at a resident's house.
But the attempt was unsuccessful after the householder reported that the teenager was not part of his family.
"One of the teenagers, when he wanted to be arrested, pretended to wash dishes at a resident's house," said Aman.
Aman said that a number of items of evidence were also secured from the hands of the teenagers, including four sickles and three motorbikes used by the teenagers.
"These are high school students in the context of inspection or whether they have not confessed, they only know to look for enemies," said Aman.
The teenagers were then taken to the Jatinegara Police Headquarters for further data collection and examination.
"We will hand everything over to the Jatinegara Police for further follow-up," said Aman.
