Lili Pintauli 'steps On The Gas' With A Black Pajero After Her Ethical Trial Is Dismissed
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Lili Pintauli Siregar 'stepped on the gas' after the Corruption Eradication Commission's Supervisory Board decided that the trial for alleged ethical violations that had ensnared him was dismissed. Lili didn't say anything.
Lili is suspected of violating ethics after receiving accommodation and tickets for the Mandalika MotoGP from PT Pertamina (Persero). The trial was adjourned today, Monday, July 11.
From VOI's observation, Lili did not appear to have left the ethics courtroom at all. However, before that, his aides were seen running to check the exit at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.
Then, 20 minutes after the ethical trial was declared over, or around 13.00 WIB, Lili's car came out of the garage on the right side of the KPK ACLC Building.
The black Pajero car with number plate B 1541 JFR which was suspected of carrying Lili immediately slid from the inside towards the parking exit of the ACLC Building.
Previously, the KPK Supervisory Board stated that Lili's ethical trial would not be continued and was declared void. The reason is that the former Deputy Chairperson of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) has submitted his resignation from his position to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
President Jokowi has accepted the resignation and a Presidential Decree (Keppres) regarding the dismissal of office has been signed today, Monday, July 11.
"The examinee no longer has the status of a commission member who is a legal subject of the Supervisory Board, so the alleged violation of the code of ethics can no longer be accounted for to the examinee," said the Head of the Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean Ethics Council when reading the ethics trial verdict, Monday, July 11.
Tumpak said Lili had sent a letter of resignation from her position to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and a Presidential Decree (Keppres) regarding the dismissal was signed today, Monday, July 11.
"Declaring that the ethics trial was dismissed for alleged violations of ethics and code of conduct on behalf of Lili Pintauli Siregar and terminated the ethics trial," said Tumpak.
As for this decision, Lili who was present said she would follow it. "Thank you, the assembly, I accept the decision of the assembly," he said in court.
