Malaysia Masters 2022: Ahsan / Hendra Win from Chinese Representatives, Rinov / Pitha Join in Adding Indonesian Representatives in the Final
JAKARTA - Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan managed to beat the representatives of China, Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang in the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Masters 2022. Ahsan/Hendra's victory added to Indonesia's representatives in the final round.
In the duel at Axiata Arena, Malaysia on Saturday 9 July, Ahsan/Hendra's steps to win were fairly smooth. The Daddies finished the game for 37 minutes to lock the score 21-19 and 21-14.
At the beginning of the first game points, Ahsan/Hendra and Liang/Wang appeared exciting because they traded points to secure the advantage. Even though the Chinese pair managed to reverse Ahsan/Hendra's numbers, the Daddies were able to close the first interval with 11-9 points.
After a pause, Ahsan/Hendra's steps became more determined to move away from Liang/wang. The game briefly featured twins 16-16, but again Ahsan / Hendra won 21-19 to win the first game.
The second game was no less interesting because even though they had excelled in the first game, Ahsan/Hendra actually fell behind in the second interval 8-11. But the situation didn't last long, because, after the break, The Daddies came back and won 20-14.

Besides Ahsan/Hendra, the representatives of Indonesia in the final match were also fulfilled with the mixed doubles victory, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas.
Facing the representatives of Thailand, Supak Jomkoh/Supissara Paewsampran, Rinov/Pitha ensured victory through the rubber game. In a match that lasted 44 minutes, Rinov/Pitha won 18-21, 21-10, and 21-15.
Rinov/Pitha became the fourth representative for Indonesia in the final round after Ahsan/Hendra, Gregoria Mariska and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo qualified first.
