Head Of Nusantara Capital Authority: Construction Of The New National Capital Starts From The State Palace
BALIKPAPAN - The Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono said that the State Palace is where the President lives and has an office, as well as the Vice President's Palace, along with a number of other office buildings, being the first to be built in the Nusantara Capital area.
This includes several ministerial offices, facilities for the TNI and Polri, housing, schools, hospitals, parks, and green open spaces, as well as markets and entertainment venues that are in accordance with natural and environmental conditions.
"Currently, land preparation has begun, construction of access roads to points of construction sites, construction of dams for drinking water intake, and tree seedbed nurseries to be planted in predetermined places," said Bambang Susantono in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan (Kaltim). reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 6.
In addition, the IKN Nusantara Authority in collaboration with relevant ministries and institutions also organizes various community empowerment programs to improve the community's ability to be involved in development.
"Because local residents, residents of Semoi and Sepaku sub-districts, are an inseparable part of IKN development," said Bambang Susantono.
To ensure the need for manpower, OIKN also collaborates with Mulawarman University and Balikpapan University to study the social conditions of the people in the two sub-districts.
Teams from both campuses also recorded the needs of the community and the expertise needed at IKN, especially in this stage of development.

Meanwhile, the President of the Indonesian Diaspora Network (IDN) Global Kartini Sarsilaningsih hoped that IKN would become a symbol of the progress of civilization in Indonesia.
IDN Global will participate in echoing overseas because the Indonesian diaspora spread abroad can be a strategic element to support investment in IKN.
Kartini also expressed her hope about the Diaspora House at IKN, to accommodate the Indonesian diaspora around the world to display achievements, explore potential for collaboration, channel aspirations, expand networks, and maintain friendship between diaspora and stakeholders in IKN.
In addition, Kartini revealed that IDN Global plans to implement a village digitization program and book donations from around the world through the Buku, Jendela Dunia program.
“We already have a diaspora working group to build villages. The system is made by the diaspora in Australia, it's called openSID, it has been used by 5000 villages and is supported by the community so that the system continues to grow," said Kartini.
Bambang appreciated IDN Global's participation in the development of the Capital of the Nusantara. According to Bambang, this is a form of the diaspora's love for the Indonesian people.
