From Abu Dhabi, Jokowi Mourns The Death Of Tjahjo: Politician Who Died At The Peak Of His Service
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo expressed his condolences for the departure of PANRB Minister Tjahjo Kumolo via his Twitter account. Currently, Jokowi is in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates (PEA) for a working visit.
In Abu Dhabi, Jokowi is scheduled to meet with PEA businessmen and investors. In the afternoon, President Jokowi and PEA President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan. Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana and their entourage are scheduled to return to their homeland in the afternoon.
"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. My deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo in Jakarta," Jokowi said on Jokowi's Twitter account, Friday, July 1.
Jokowi prayed that Tjahjo's deeds of worship would be accepted by the Almighty. Jokowi said Tjahjo left the world at the peak of his service as a minister in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
"The deceased was a youth figure and politician who died at the peak of his service as the Minister of PANRB. Hopefully all the deeds of worship of the late are accepted by Allah SWT," he said.

In addition to Jokowi, the 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) also remembered the figure of Tjahjo. JK considered Tjahjo as a good person who until the end of his life dedicated himself to the Indonesian nation
"Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo has served his country very well. Innalillahi wainnailaihi raji'un, with a heart of sorrow, I express my condolences for the passing of Rahmatullah Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo," said JK in Jakarta.
JK, who is also the General Chair of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI), invites the entire community to pray for Tjahjo Kumolo so that his deeds and worship while living in this world can be accepted by Allah SWT.
"Let us all pray for the deceased, may his deeds of worship be accepted by Allah SWT," he added.
It was previously reported that Menpan RB Tjahjo Kumolo died at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday afternoon, at 11.10 WIB, after undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital since mid-June.
Tjahjo Kumolo will be buried militarily at the Kalibata Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU). Before being buried, Tjahjo's body was buried at his official residence, Jalan Widya Chandra, South Jakarta.
