Regarding The Russian Invasion Of Ukraine, President Putin To President Jokowi: I Will Tell Everything That Happened There
JAKARTA - Russian President Vladimir Putin warmly welcomed the arrival of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to Russia, following Indonesia's attention to economic problems and conflicts in Ukraine, Thursday.
"I am very happy to see you in Russia, in Moscow. I know that this is your first visit to our country," President Putin said, citing the Kremlin website Thursday, June 30.
On the occasion, President Putin said he paid attention to Indonesia's interest in developing relations with the Eurasian Economic Union. President Putin also paid attention to the G20 Presidency by Indonesia, as well as the ASEAN leadership that Indonesia will assume next year.
Regarding the situation in Ukraine, President Putin also paid attention to Indonesia's concern and desire to help resolve the crisis that occurred in Ukraine and in Donbas.
"And of course I will tell you in detail about everything that is happening there and about our vision on this issue," said President Putin.
As previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin received a visit from Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Kremlin, Moscow, Thursday, with a number of agenda items to be discussed by the two leaders.
"Vladimir Putin held talks with Indonesian President Joko Widodo," the Kremlin wrote on its Telegram channel.
"The agenda includes bilateral cooperation in various fields, global economic developments, including in the context of G20 activities, global food security issues, and the progress of special military operations in Ukraine," the Kremlin continued.
It is known that President Jokowi arrived in Russia, Thursday, June 30, 2022, aboard the Garuda Indonesia GIA-1 aircraft which landed at Vnukovo II Airport at around 11.00 local time. The day before, Jokowi had just met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Maryinsky Palace, Kyiv.
