The demonstration at the French Embassy was carried out by a number of elements of Islamic organizations. This action was aimed at criticizing the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. Because, Macron is considered to have insulted Muslims and the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The insult was because Macron had insulted Islam and defended the publication of the controversial caricature of the Prophet Muhammad.
Previously, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD reminded that protests against French President Emmanuel Macron's statement linking Islam to terrorism should be carried out according to regulations. Every act of protest including the demonstration against Macron must not be anarchistic.
