Arema FC And PSM Makassar Are The First Teams To Qualify For The Top 8 Of The 2022 President's Cup

JAKARTA - Arema FC and PSM Makassar became the first clubs to ensure qualification for the last eight of the 2022 President's Cup. Both qualified as winners and runners-up in Group D.

Arema FC stepped into the next round with the status of group winners after defeating Persikabo 1973 in the last match, Sunday, June 19. In that match, Arema won 1-0 through Gian Zola's goal.

An additional three points make Singo Edan occupy the top position of the standings with six points. In the next round, Arema will meet the runner-up in Group B.

While PSM escaped with runner up status. This is thanks to a 0-0 draw against Persik Kediri in the last match.

PSM collected four points, the same as Persik. However, the Juku Spell Team has the right to sit in second place because it has fewer yellow cards.
