Jokowi Scheduled Kunker Visit To Kendari, 300 TNI And Polri Personnel On Alert
SULTENG - As many as 300 joint personnel of the TNI and the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police are prepared to secure the arrival of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Jokowi is scheduled to spend the night in Kendari City today, Wednesday 8 June.
Acting Head of Information for Korem 143/Haluoleo, First Lieutenant Inf. Rusmin Ismail, said that the joint personnel had an assembly at Makorem 143/Haluoleo this morning.
"The personnel involved in the holding of this title ceremony consist of one SSK for the Haluoleo Airport sub-task, one SSK for the Claro sub-task, one SSK for the route sub-task with a total of 300 personnel who are ready to secure Mr. President while in Kendari City," said the Chief of Staff of Korem 143/Haluoleo. Ari conveyed that the implementation of the troop title was to directly check the readiness of the TNI-Polri troops in securing President Jokowi's working visit in the Southeast Sulawesi region.
"The deployment of the troops is aimed at seeing and directly checking the readiness of the TNI and Polri troops as well as other supporting elements who will be tasked with securing the visit of the President, with the hope that the implementation of the security can run in an orderly, safe and smooth manner," he said.
Therefore, he said that all TNI-Polri soldiers and other security support task forces must actually carry out their respective duties with full responsibility.
Ari also reminded all personnel involved in security to carry out security duties
He asked to carry out the task of securing the presidential visit in accordance with applicable procedures and to continuously monitor any developments in the situation, both before, during and after the implementation of activities.
