Sukoharjo Police Still Intensively Holds COVID-19 Vaccinations Even At Night
SUKOHARJO - The Sukoharjo Police are still aggressively carrying out COVID-19 vaccinations to accelerate the formation of communal immunity in the area from the transmission of the virus.
Sukoharjo Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan in Sukoharjo, Monday, June 6, explained that to accelerate the vaccination, a vaccination booth has been opened at the night market at the Satya Negara Sukoharjo Square with the target of visitors being for the first, second, or follow-up or booster vaccinations.
"It turned out to be quite enthusiastically welcomed," he said, quoted by Antara.
He explained that people were queuing at the booth to take part in the vaccination which was held for four nights with the achievement exceeding the target of 300 targets.
"Vaccination services at night are carried out as an effort to accelerate COVID-19 vaccination in Sukoharjo Regency. The target is at the night market considering that it is visited by many people," he said.
He hopes that through the vaccination, communal immunity will be formed so that the COVID-19 pandemic in Sukoharjo will end quickly.
The Parama Satwika Clinic of the Sukoharjo Police previously received an award from the Sukoharjo Regency Government for health service facilities for achieving the most COVID-19 vaccination services in the area.

Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani expressed his appreciation to all health facilities for implementing COVID-19 vaccination services in Sukoharjo Regency.
The achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in Sukoharjo Regency as of May 31, 2022, for the first dose, was 92.43 percent of the total target of 719,754 targets, the second dose was 87.98 percent and the third dose or booster was 28.77 percent.
The highest achievement of COVID-19 vaccination services was the Parama Satwika Clinic of the Sukoharjo Police, namely in 2021 with 195,937 targets and in 2022 as many as 64,582 targets for a total of 260,519 targets, followed by the Kodim Clinic 0726/Sukoharjo (149.506) and the Sukoharjo City Health Center (89,661).
