Power Outage, Residents Of Luxury Apartments On Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Stuck In Elevator On Floor 20

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) managed to evacuate a person trapped in the elevator at the Da Vinci Penthouse Apartment, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Karet Tengsin Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

"Thank God, the victim was rescued. The evacuation was carried out manually", said the Head of the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. when confirmed by VOI, Monday, June 6.

Asril said the victim was trapped in the elevator he was riding due to a power outage in the apartment, causing congestion in the elevator operation on the 20th floor.

"After receiving the report on Sunday, June 5, at 00.00 WIB, the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. sent 5 rescue personnel to evacuate victims", he said.

The victim was successfully evacuated on Monday, June 6, at around 00.10 WIB by officers. During the rescue process, the Head of the Sub-dept. said there were no obstacles that would complicate the evacuation process.

"There are no obstacles, survivors", he said.
