The Intensity Of The Indonesian National Team's Training In Kuwait Increases Ahead Of The First Match Of The 2023 Asian Cup Qualification, Saddil Ramdani: Hopefully I Can Score A Goal

JAKARTA - Indonesian national team winger Saddil Ramdani said that the Indonesian national team's training in Kuwait was increasing as the inaugural Group A match of the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification against Kuwait, Wednesday the day after tomorrow.

"After arriving here from a long trip two days ago and prior to the recovery activities, now our training has started to increase in intensity," Saddil said, quoted by Antara from the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) TV Youtube channel, Monday.

According to the Sabah FC club player in the Malaysian Super League, he and his colleagues worked hard to complete all the training menus from coach Shin Tae-yong.

They focus on fixing tactics, physically and mentally. Shin, said Saddil, also gave directions on how Indonesia could give Kuwait a fierce resistance.

"We have to fight together and follow the direction of the coach. Hopefully I can score goals and help my friends on the pitch," said the 22-year-old footballer.

The Indonesian national team will play Kuwait in the inaugural match of Group A of the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification, Wednesday starting at 23.15 p.m. GMT+7 (Western Indonesian Time or WIB) at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Kuwait.

After that, at the same stadium, the Garuda squad will face Jordan on Sunday, June 12 starting at 02.15 a.m. WIB.

Finally, still at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Indonesia will test Nepal's strength, Wednesday, June 15 starting at 02.15 a.m. WIB.

If you want to qualify for the 2023 Asian Cup, Indonesia must win the qualifying Group A or be one of the five best second-placed out of the six qualifying groups.
