A Total Of 13 Students From Six Vocational Schools In Bengkulu Declared Not Graduated

BENGKULU - A total of 13 students at the Vocational High School (SMK) both public and private in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, were declared not to have passed the school exam.

Head of the Rejang Lebong Vocational School Principals Working Consultation (MKKS) Asep Suparman in Rejang Lebong, Saturday said the number of regional SMK students who took the graduation exam this year was 1,477 people from seven state vocational schools and seven private vocational schools.

"The announcement of the graduation of class XII students at the state and private SMK level was held this Friday afternoon at around 17.00 western Indonesia time. Of the number of registered students there were 13 students who did not pass," he said.

He explained that the students who were declared not to have graduated from this school came from six schools including one from SMKN 2 Rejang Lebong, then three people from SMKN 5 Rejang Lebong.

Furthermore, five people from SMKS 1 Rejang Lebong, two people from SMKS 2 Rejang Lebong. Then one person from SMKS 5 Rejang Lebong and another person from SMKS 6 Rejang Lebong.

Asep added that the students who were declared unsuccessful were because they had been expelled from school or dropped out (DO).

They are registered as participants in the Vocational High School level exam for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Therefore, he appealed to students who had passed the exam not to celebrate it by convoying vehicles, or by scribbling on their clothes.

"There are several SMK students who are declared to have graduated from this school and are immediately accepted for work, or continue their education to a higher level of education," he said.
