Arriving In Saudi Arabia, Hajj Candidates Can Immediately Complement Original Indonesian Consumption, From Tea To Sauce
JAKARTA - Each Indonesian hajj candidate will receive a complimentary package of consumption in the form of tea, coffee, sugar, soy sauce, and sauce no later than two days after arriving in the Holy Land, said the Head of the Catering Division of the Hajj Organizing Committee, Beni Darmawan.
"Consumables such as coffee, tea, sugar, soy sauce, and sauce are mandatory for Indonesian products," he said from Madinah, Saudi Arabia, Saturday, June 4.
He also explained that the officers had directly checked the preparation for the provision of consumption for Indonesian pilgrims while in Saudi Arabia.
According to him, there are 13 catering companies in the city of Medina that will provide food for Indonesian pilgrims. Eight companies are tasked with providing breakfast and lunch and five companies are tasked with providing dinner.
Government officials, he said, oversee the provision of food for Indonesian pilgrims to ensure the food prepared is appropriate and safe for consumption.

The first seven batches of pilgrims from Indonesia arrived in Medina City on Saturday. They will stay a maximum of nine days in Medina to perform worship at the Prophet's Mosque.
Beni said that those of one flying group who arrived at the hotel during the day would receive lunch and those of the six flying groups who arrived after lunchtime would receive dinner.
