White Honda Jazz Crashed By Trees And Walls Due To Rain Accompanied By Strong Winds In Setiabudi, South Jakarta

JAKARTA - Due to heavy rains accompanied by strong winds, trees and walls on Jalan Menteng Atas Raya, Setiabudi, South Jakarta collapsed on a white Honda Jazz and a Toyota Kijang.

South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-department officer, Prawito, said the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, June 2, at around 18.15 WIB.

"The tree fell along with the parapet of the Menteng Upper Highway, which resulted in 2 cars being crushed by the wall and the optical network cable was attracted by the fallen tree," said Prawito when confirmed, Thursday, June 2.

After receiving information about a fallen tree, firefighters (Damkar) immediately rushed to the location to evacuate two cars that were hit by the tree.

Luckily, there were no casualties in the fallen tree and collapsed walls, only material losses.

"There are no victims. Only material losses due to the incident," he concluded
