JAKARTA - Cleo brand bottled water producer, PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO) will distribute dividends to its shareholders. This company owned by conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko has set a dividend for the 2021 financial year of IDR 41.9 billion.

This figure reflects a dividend ratio of 23.2 percent of last year's total net profit of IDR 180.7 billion. The dividend value is in accordance with the decision of the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS).

Dividends consist of cash dividends totaling IDR 12 billion. Meanwhile, IDR 29.9 billion is an interim dividend that has been distributed to shareholders on December 20, 2021.

"We are grateful that throughout the last five years, even until the first quarter of 2022, the company still recorded a positive performance. This is inseparable from the support and trust of various parties. Therefore, we appreciate the shareholders by distributing dividends of 23.2 percent of the total profit net 2021," said Deputy President Director of PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO) Melisa Patricia in her statement, quoted on Wednesday, June 1.

Last year, the producer of bottled drinking water (AMDK) recorded a 36.1 percent increase in net profit to IDR 180.7 billion. Meanwhile, net sales increased 13.5 percent to IDR 1.1 trillion.

Growth also continued in the first quarter of 2022. Sales shot up 29.7 percent to IDR 307.7 billion and net profit rose 9.4 percent to IDR 45.8 billion, this increase was driven by improvements in product quality and service quality, so that the company was able to maintain its existence.

In order to encourage continued growth going forward, he said, the company will continue to expand its factory along with the expansion of its market network. Currently, Sariguna has 27 factories with a total network of 200 internal distributors and 1,515 external distributors.

The Company builds factories in several areas, namely Java, Kalimantan, and Sumatra. In addition to expanding the network. It aims to expand the factory in anticipation of the company's surge in demand and savings in shipping costs.
