Mobile Phone Snatcher Crashed On Speed Bump Near South Gandaria Graves
JAKARTA - A man who committed a robbery with the initials S was caught after falling while being chased by residents on Madrasah 1 Street, South Gandaria, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Saturday, May 21.
Alan, a local resident, said that the arrest of the alleged robber took place at around 20.00 western Indonesia time.
The perpetrators previously acted in the Cipete Dalam area, Cilandak, South Jakarta. But at that time the victim was chased by the perpetrator to the South Gandaria area.
"There, the culprit, who was driving a fast motorbike, was crashed because there was a speed bump (at the location) near the cemetery," said Alan, Saturday, May 21.
He said the suspect was said to have snatched the victim's cellphone. He had become the target of angry residents around the location.
"The perpetrator was taken to the Cilandak Police Station for assistance," said Alan.

When contacted, the Head of the Cilandak Police, Commissioner Multazam, said that the suspect had been arrested. However, S had to be taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta for his injuries.
"We have secured one suspect and taken him to the Kramat Jati hospital for treatment," said Multazam when confirmed by VOI, Saturday, May 21, if it was night.
Multazam said his party had examined several witnesses. This is done to find out the actual incident of the case.
"Initial information about the perpetrator of the robbery, but we are still examining the witnesses," he concluded
