JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Giring Ganesha hopes that other parties can follow in his party's footsteps, not accepting cadres or legislative candidates who have been involved in corruption cases.

This was conveyed by Giring while attending the Smart Politics with Integrity program held by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, Wednesday, May 18.

"Hopefully other parties, such as PSI, will not accept or cadres or legislative candidates who have been exposed to corruption cases. That's the important thing," Giring told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday. , May 18.

PSI, continued Giring, from the beginning also emphasized that it did not have any cadres or legislative candidates involved in corruption cases. "And hopefully later in 2024 we will continue to maintain our commitment, the program that no legislative candidates are affected by corruption cases," he said.
