Ustaz Abdul Somad Admits He Was Deported When He Wanted To Go On Vacation To Singapore, Here's The Chronology

JAKARTA - Last week's long holiday became a moment of vacation with family after Eid. Ustaz Abdul Somad also wants to go on vacation with his wife and child to Singapore. Unfortunately, the intention of the holiday was canceled because Abdul Somad was deported before entering Singapore.

According to his confession on Ustaz Abdul Somad's YouTube channel, Hai Guys on Tuesday, 17 May 2022, he was refused entry to Singapore by the Singapore Immigration Officer through Tanah Merah Port on Monday, 16 May 2022.

"I left for Singapore on Monday afternoon from Batam on May 16, 2022, arriving at Tanah Merah (Singapore) Port at around 1.30 (noon) Indonesian time. In the context of a holiday, my friend happens to be near his house from Singapore, "he said.

Apart from him, all the ladies-in-waiting group were able to pass immigration and cross to Singapore. UAS was the last person to check all the files, but he was not allowed to continue his journey.

"All files complete. Travel cards, cards to come and go, all complete, nothing lacking. After arriving at the immigration stamp, he didn't have a stamp because he just scanned the passport, after that it was a thumbprint. When I was about to go out, my best friend left, his wife was gone, his son was gone, ustazah was gone, my son was gone, I was the last one. As soon as I wanted to go out, the bag was pulled in," he said.

UAS did not accept the treatment he received, because the Singapore immigration authorities did not give a clear reason. Is it because of terrorists, or involved in the ISIS network or carrying drugs.

"So that has to be explained. Ask all Indonesian citizens to ask for an explanation, what's wrong? Let us know clearly, lacking the file or what, explain. Why? Is it because of the terrorists? Is it because of ISIS? Is it because of taking drugs? That needs to be explained. Starting at half 2, half 3, half 4, half 5 in the afternoon the last ship was just returned," he said.

On Instagram, Uastad Abdul Somad uploaded a photo of himself in the detention room. He was placed in a 1X2 meter room alone. There is a wire covering the wall so it is considered a prison.
