Gymnastics Adds Gold Medal Collection To Indonesian Contingent At SEA Games 2021, Beautiful Rifda Irfanaluthfi Won
JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent continues to add gold medals at the 2021 SEA Games, Saturday, May 14. After the previous rowing and wushu sports, this time the gold came from artistic gymnastics.
The first gold medal in this gymnastics was presented by the beautiful athlete, Rifda Irfanaluthi. She became the best when down in the women's individual all around number.
Rifda defeated the representative of the Philippines, Aleah Finnegan Cruz, who won the silver medal. While the bronze medal was won by Rachel Yeoh Li Wen from Malaysia.
This is the 13th gold medal for the Indonesian contingent since the start of the 2021 SEA Games. Paddle is the biggest contributor with eight gold.
In the rowing competition which took place on May 11-14, Indonesia collected eight gold and six silver from a total of 16 gold contested.
"Actually, we exceeded our target because our initial target was only eight gold medals for rowing. But for rowing and canoeing, we are targeting to win 14 to 16 gold medals," Indonesian coach Agus Budiaji told Antara.
