JAKARTA - Tom DeLonge Blink-182 is directing the film titled Monsters of California. The release date has not yet been released but he has released an official trailer on Friday, May 13.

Monsters of California tells the story of Dallas Edwards who is surrounded by a group of teenagers who live with sex and drugs. An incident in southern California demands Dallas to solve a paranormal case in the city.

This film stars a series of big names in Hollywood, such as Richard Kind, Arianne Zucker, Camille Kostek, Casper Van Dien, and Gabrielle Haugh. A line of new stars namely Jack Samson, Jared Scott, and Jack Lancaster were also present.

Monsters of California was created by DeLonge's own production house, To The Stars. He is also a co-producer with Stan Spry and Eric Woods.

"Anyone who knows or follows me on social media knows that I'm no stranger to the paranormal, so directing Monsters of California wasn't a big deal," Tom DeLonge quoted Collider as saying.

The first film will be filled with things that the Angels and Airwaves frontman enjoys, from rollerblading culture, comedy genres, to his days as a member of Blink-182.

“Sometimes I've had the good fortune of helping the government to remember how much they care about UFOs through To The Stars. That experience inspired this film and I can't wait for audiences to see the adventures of these children," continued Tom DeLonge.

Tom DeLonge also did not completely leave the world of music. In 2021, he and Angels & Airwaves released Lifeforms.
