JAKARTA - The Indonesian Political Indicators survey institute released a survey which showed that the electability of the PDIP had decreased in April 2022.
The Executive Director of Indonesian Political Indicators, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, said that the PDIP's electability had declined due to a drop in satisfaction with President Jokowi.
"When President Jokowi's approval goes down, it's usually the PDI-P that is most affected, and the data is like that. So, PDIP, even though it was still ahead, got 23.7 percent, (but) it fell compared to the previous 26.8 percent," said Burhanuddin. in an online survey presentation, Tuesday, April 26.
The Indonesian Political Indicators Survey noted that today's PDIP result was the lowest in the last two years. Meanwhile, the electability of the Golkar and Gerindra parties is stable. Followed by PKB and Democrats.
"The rankings haven't changed too much. In general, the only thing that's decreased is PDIP," he continued.
Burhanuddin explained that PDIP's electability was at its lowest at 21 percent before the 2019 election. But in April 2022, PDIP's results were the lowest in the last two years.
"So as of February 2020 to April 2022, PDIP's electability is currently the lowest. Because President Jokowi's approval is relatively low in April because of the cooking oil," said Burhanuddin.
There are also details on the results of the political party electability survey, Political Indicator, namely the first position is PDIP with 23.7 percent, the second Gerindra 11.4 percent, the third Golkar 10.9 percent, the fourth PKB 9.8 percent, and the fifth Democrat 9.1 percent. .
Meanwhile, in the sixth there are PKS 5.5 percent, the seventh NasDem 3.9 percent, the eight PPP 3.3 percent, the ninth Perindo 2.1 percent and the tenth PAN: 1.1 percent.

This Political Indicator Survey was conducted by means of face-to-face interviews on April 14-19 2022 to 1,220 respondents who were selected at random or multistage random sampling.
Of these, the margin of error is ± 2.9 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent. Respondents are Indonesian citizens who have the right to vote in the General Election.
It is known that the level of public satisfaction with the government's performance in April stood at 59.9 percent. This result decreased sharply when compared to January 2022, amounting to 75.3 percent.
"In April 14 to April 19, if we are satisfied or very satisfied (with President Jokowi's performance) if we total 59.9 percent, those who are less satisfied are 38.6 percent. So more are satisfied," said Burhanuddin in an online survey presentation. , Tuesday, April 26.
Burhanuddin explained, in early January 2022, public satisfaction was at its highest considering that at that time the government had successfully handled the COVID-19 pandemic.
"At that time (January 2022) inflation had not occurred. Cooking oil was still relatively affordable. And don't forget that the people at that time were happy with the government's performance in handling the pandemic case, the Delta variant," he said.
