Man With Glasses Threatens To Break His Neck, Bobby Nasution: It's Not A Problem Of Breaking His Neck, Our Parking Attendants Are Victims

MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution responded normally to the threats made by a man named Rizkan Putra for refusing to pay for parking with an electronic card. Bobby Nasution took issue with the behavior of the bespectacled man who injured the Medan E-parking officer.

"That's on a normal field, only what I emphasize the most is not the problem of Bobby Nasution's broken neck, no. But our parking attendant who was the victim, even though his neck didn't break, but yesterday his hand was caught in the car window, and then he walked (the car)," said Bobby Nasution, Monday, April 25.

"The important point is, because it has happened, there have been victims, there have been injuries. If the problem is breaking a neck, it hasn't happened yet," he explained.

Bobby Nasution emphasized that the legal process against the man was not because of threats but injuring the Medan E-parking officer.

"This is what the Head of Police said earlier that he had been secured, but not because he broke his neck, but because his hand was clamped by the perpetrator, he entered into persecution, because he was pinned in the car and then carried on until the parking attendant dragged him," he continued.

Bobby Nasution said the Medan City Government continues to promote E-parking, aka non-cash payments.

"Yesterday, one of them we socialized, we gave an award to the jukir for the socialization method, I thank you. I convey that we are still enthusiastic about our jukir in the field and remain firm in conveying that the payment has been using digital. we emphasize the method of payment, it is not a matter of paying or not paying," said Bobby Nasution.

The head of the Medan City Police, Kompol Rikki Ramadhan previously said that the man named Rizkan Putra was arrested on the e-parking officer's report.

This incident began when the man had an argument with an E-parking officer on Jalan Rahmad syah, Masjid Village, Medan Kota District, Saturday, April 23.

"The man made threats when the E-Parking officer asked for a car parking fee. However, the man objected to paying the parking fee with an E-toll card by saying, I want to break your neck," said Police Commissioner Rikki, Monday, April 25.

After threatening the E-parking officer, the man and his partner immediately left.

"At that time, the e-parking officer's hand was on the left side of the car, causing the e-parking officer's right hand to get scratched," he explained.

For this incident, the E-parking officer made a complaint report to the Medan City Police. Upon receiving the report, the police conducted an investigation. The perpetrator was also arrested in Takengon, Central Aceh.
