Wow! Tyson Fury Earns IDR 484.7 Billion From Duel Against Dillian Whyte
JAKARTA - Tyson Fury's powerful strike in the sixth round not only sealed his victory over Dillian Whyte on Saturday, but also made his coffers more abundant.
The world heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC) only needed 18 minutes to show his strength in front of the 94,000 spectators who attended Wembley Stadium.
Victory over Whyte could be Fury's last fight. And Gypsy King will be able to live for some time to come based on the income he has.
Before the fight, debates arose about the amount of income that the two boxers would earn.
In total, £32 million was distributed between the two fighters, but the distribution completely changed after the duel.
It was estimated that Fury took home 80 percent, with Whyte having 20 percent, but the ratio changed to 82/18 after Fury won the fight.
That means Fury took home £26.2 million (Rp484.7 billion), while Whyte earned £5.8 million (Rp107.3 billion) from the loss.
That does not include a winning bonus of £3.2 million (Rp59.2 billion).
