Due To A Commotion With The Bus Driver, An Alphard Car Driver Was Caught Carrying Methamphetamine

BANYUMAS - The Banyumas Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested two perpetrators of drug abuse of the type of shabu from the Ajibarang Police, Banyumas Regency, Central Java.

Banyumas Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Edy Suranta Sitepu through the Banyumas Police Narcotics Head Commissioner Adjutant of Police Guntar Arif Setiyoko said that suspects SJ (49) and AK (30) were detained by Ajibarang Police officers because they were caught carrying methamphetamine and suction devices in a Toyota Alphard car.

"We searched SJ and AK, we found two transparent plastic clips containing crystal powder suspected of being methamphetamine, which was stored or hidden in the blue jeans worn by the suspect, SJ, and he has admitted it," explained the Head of Drugs Unit, Guntar Arif in a written statement, Thursday, April 21, evening.

Guntar explained that the chronology of the surrender of the two suspects from the Ajibarang Police began with a commotion between the suspect, who was driving an Alphard car, and clashed with the bus driver on the Ajibarang-Purwokerto road.

The commotion, continued Guntar, caused a traffic jam, so officers from the Ajibarang Police came to the location.

Until finally the officers found out that SJ and AK were found to be carrying shabu and their suction devices. The two suspects along with evidence and a white Alphard car were taken to the Ajibarang Police Headquarters.

"From the suspect found items in the form of a transparent plastic clip containing crystal powder suspected to be methamphetamine with a gross weight of 1.2 grams, One transparent plastic clip containing crystal powder suspected of being Narcotics Category I type methamphetamine with a gross weight of 0.8 grams, One bong for shabu suction. which is connected to a white straw and a glass pipette," said Guntar.

In addition, officers also confiscated a cardboard box that was used to wrap a white cellphone with the words Oppo A3s in it which contained eleven glass pipettes, 4 cotton buds, six pieces of transparent hose, three rolls of aluminum foil, one piece of straw with a sharp white tip, a combination of red and yellow, 1 (one) white straw, 1 (one) blue jeans and 1 (one) white TOYOTA ALPHARD KBM.

The Narcotics Head continued that the suspect was ensnared in Article 112 paragraph (1) subsidiary to Article 127 paragraph (1) letter a of Law No. RI. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

"Currently, we have secured the perpetrators and evidence at the Banyumas Police Headquarters for further investigation," he concluded.
