Digital Literacy Degree For MSME Players In Jakarta, Logistics Company PCP Express Targets 1,000 Virtual Agent Partners
JAKARTA - The logistics company PCP Express collaborates with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to increase literacy for MSME players as the main target market for the Virtual Agent application or PCP Express Virtual Partner. In the early stages of the collaboration, PCP Express and the East Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Trade Industry Sub-Department (PPKUKM) will carry out digital literacy literacy for MSME players who are Jakprenuer members in the East Jakarta area.
These digital literacy activities are targeted to have an impact on increasing virtual partners for the Virtual Agent application. Since its launch in October 2021, the number of PCP Express Virtual Agents has now reached 500 partners.
PCP Express targets to reach 1,000 Virtual Agent partners by the end of this year.
PCP Express CEO Dennis Soemarno, PCP Express CEO explained that the digital literacy collaboration with the East Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-dept. will take place in the period April – June 2022. After that, PCP Express is committed to continuing the digital literacy program to other areas in DKI Jakarta.
“We encourage MSMEs to open their own logistics business so that they can earn additional income. From this activity, we are targeting that at least 50 percent of MSME players who take part in the training will be able to become active Virtual Agents of PCP Express," said Dennis in his statement, Wednesday, April 20.
Head of the East Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-department, Parulian Tampubolon, revealed that his party positively welcomed the PCP Express initiative to carry out digital literacy for MSME players, Jakprenuer members in East Jakarta. This is in line with the local government's efforts to accelerate economic recovery after the pandemic, especially the digital transformation of MSME businesses.
“This digital literacy educates as well as provides new opportunities for MSME players to be able to have new sources of income by becoming PCP Express Virtual Agents. With minimal capital and all transactions can be done through the application, this is a good opportunity for DKI Jakarta MSME players to increase their income in the midst of digital economic growth," said Parulian.
In detail, the digital literacy program includes training in business management or management, creation, marketing and cash management for business operations. The main targets of this digital training participant are MSME businessmen in the fashion sector, electronic gadgets and equipment, mother and child equipment, and beauty products.
In each session, 50 MSME business players are expected to participate, because the training will be carried out intensively and one on one.
