Replace Lion Air, Super Air Jet Serves Flights From Riau Islands To Soetta
JAKARTA - Super Jet aircraft will replace Lion aircraft to serve passengers from Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands, to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang.
Head of the Riau Islands Transportation Service, Junaidi, said the Lion plane had not been operating for several months serving passengers from Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport to Soerkarno-Hatta Airport.
"The Super Air Jet will replace the Lion aircraft serving passengers from Tanjungpinang to Tangerang and vice versa," said the Coordinator of the Transportation Division of the Riau Islands COVID-19 Handling Task Force, quoted by Antara, Sunday, April 17.
Junaidi gave his appreciation to the Lion Air airline for still wanting to serve passengers in Tanjungpinang to Tangerang, even though it replaced the plane with a Super Jet.
"Super Air Jet aircraft are also quite good," he said.
Currently, he said, there are only three airlines serving flights from Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, namely Garuda, Batik and Citilink. Garuda planes only serve passengers every Thursday and Saturday at 09.00 WIB.
Meanwhile, Batik Airplanes serve passengers at Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport to Soekarno-Hatta Airport every day at 11.30 WIB, and Citilink Airplanes every day at 16.30 WIB.
"Conditions are now starting to return to normal, unlike March 2020-mid 2021, only Garuda planes make limited flights," he said.
Junaidi predicts that the three planes will also be prepared to serve passengers from Tanjungpinang to Tangerang. "If the Super Jet aircraft starts operating on May 1 or 2, 2022, then there are four aircraft units that are ready to serve passengers going home," he said.
