The Fire That Destroyed The Bali Samsat Office Allegedly Due To A Short Circuit
DENPASAR - The fire at the Office of the One-Stop One-Stop Administration (Samsat) at the Bali Provincial Revenue Agency (Bapenda) was allegedly caused by a short circuit or electrical short circuit.
"In the incident, the fire was suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in the electricity. There were no casualties, only material losses that cannot be estimated because they are still under investigation", said East Denpasar Police Chief, Commissioner Tri Joko Widiyanto, Thursday, April 14.
From the testimony of the witness, at around 00.15 WITA, a puff of smoke and fire appeared from the building to the east. With the help of residents, the firefighters carried out the fire independently.

Five minutes later the fire department arrived. The Bali Samsat fire was extinguished in about an hour.
"There was also a building that burned down three canteen rooms and their contents, one SIM B room belonging to the Bali Police which contained archives and computer equipment, one printing room for motorized vehicle plates and motorized vehicle plate printing equipment", he said.
