DKI Provincial Government Holds Ramadan Festival Until April 24, There Is Bazaar And Music Performances
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government together with the BUMD PT Jakarta Tourisindo (Jakarta Experience Board) held a Ramadan festival titled #FestivalRamdandiJakarta which was held at Lapangan Banteng, from April 11 to 24, 2022.
The festival which takes place from 12.00 to 19.00 western Indonesia time presents a bazaar for MSMEs to music performances.
"With the #RamadandiJakarta Festival, it is hoped that the people's economy will be able to regrow, which for the past two years has been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Head of the Mental and Spiritual Education Bureau (Dikmental) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Secretariat, Gunas Mahdianto in his statement, Tuesday, April 12.
"In addition, it also enlivens Ramadan with Islamic entertainment. Of course, we urge the public to continue to apply health protocols during the series of events and make sure they are in good health," he continued.
The #RamadandiJakarta Festival of activities opened with the Ramadan Market which will involve around 100 MSME tenants from various business fields, including crafts, culinary, creative products, and others.
Ramadan Market is divided into two, namely Ramadan Market in collaboration with Jakpreneur which will take place on 11-20 April 2022, and Ramadan Market in collaboration with Semasa held on 22 - 24 April 2022.

Then, musical performances will be held twice. First, is a performance in collaboration with the Ramadan Jazz Festival, which will be held on April 16, 2022. A number of musicians, such as Teddy Adhitya, Sivia Azizah, Risty Tagor, Nadhif Basalamah, Difa Chandra and Mark Natama, will enliven the event to accompany the community while waiting for iftar time.
Subsequent musical performances in collaboration with The 12th Music Gallery. The 12th Music Gallery is the biggest annual event of BSO Band FEB UI, in the form of an art appreciation festival that combines music and visual arts.
President Director of PT Jaktour Novita Dewi said, #FestivalRamadandiJakarta can be accessed for free, residents can directly visit Banteng Field by observing the implementation of health protocols.
"Hopefully with this program, Ramadan will feel warmer than before the pandemic. Hopefully this program will encourage MSMEs to get back up and it is hoped that the community can help enliven and enjoy the Ramadan Festival. Continue to maintain health protocols so that the pandemic situation can be well controlled," explained Novita.
