His Intention Was To Rob A Motorbike, Two Robbers Died Because They Lost A Duel Against Their Victims
CENTRAL LOMBOK - Police officers from Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), have revealed the motive for the discovery of the bodies of two young men on Jalan Raya Change Village, East Praya District, which shocked residents, early Sunday, April 10.
"The bodies of the initials P (30) and OWP (21) residents of Beleka Village were found to be suspected robbers", said Central Lombok Police Chief, AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono in Praya, Monday.
He said that the chronology of the incident began when the two victims (corpses, ed.) and two of their friends carried out a burglary on the Ganti village road against two people who were passing by on a motorbike. Furthermore, the two victims who were robbed fought back, resulting in a fight between the two victims and the perpetrators.
However, in that incident, two robbers were seriously injured and died from sharp weapons, while two of their friends fled.
"The victim of the robbery was injured and has been examined for further processing. Meanwhile, the bodies of the two suspected robbers are still at Bhayangkara Hospital for an autopsy", he said.

Previously, the East Praya Sector Police, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, held a crime scene (TKP) at the location where the bodies of two youths were found on Jalan Raya Change Village, East Praya District, Sunday evening, April 10.
Central Lombok Police Chief, AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono, through his written statement in Praya, said that after receiving a report from the community, personnel immediately went to the scene and carried out the crime scene (TKP).
"Members immediately went to the scene and carried out the crime scene (TKP)", he said.
The identities of the two victims, namely P (30) and OWP (21) are residents of Belaka Village, East Praya District. Both were found by residents dead and lying on the side of the road at around 01.30 WITA in the morning.
At the crime scene (TKP) officers found a Honda Scoopy motorcycle allegedly belonging to the victim, a sickle, and a knife with a length of about 35 cm. The two bodies were found by residents and suddenly made residents panic.
His party has evacuated the two bodies to the NTB Police Bhayangkara Hospital for an autopsy for investigation purposes.
"This case is still under investigation", he said.
