“The construction of household jargas has been fully regulated and is fully supported by the government. The infrastructure is a vital object, so all parties need to support the implementation of the jargas. The support of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is needed, especially in terms of facilitating licensing for the construction of household gas lines in the DKI Jakarta area," said PGN Infrastructure and Technology Director Achmad Muchtasyar in a Workshop on Accelerating the Implementation of Gas Jars Development Targets in the DKI Jakarta Region with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Thursday, April 7 .
In the construction of household jargas in DKI Jakarta, he said, a permit for the placement of a utility network is required prior to the execution of the work. Household jargas are included in the category of utility networks, namely installation network systems in the form of cables or pipes (utility network). Therefore, the support for the ease of licensing for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is very important in the construction of household jargas. PGN was also given an assignment to develop gas lines to flats in DKI Jakarta. In this case, PGN has collaborated with Jakpro to develop the 17 jargas flats managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government with a total potential of 11,442 units.
"PGN would like to thank the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for its support in ensuring that the PGN jargas development program provides benefits to the residents of DKI Jakarta and can run without problems," continued Achmad.
Utilization of jargas for the people of DKI Jakarta will provide added value in the form of energy cost savings, products that are more practical, comfortable, and safe.
As for the development of DKI Jakarta, PGN's jargas bring benefits, especially in realizing Smart City, Clean Sky Program, and reducing traffic density because it does not require operational vehicles to distribute natural gas to customers.
