Slovak Cup Semifinal 1st Leg: Egy Maulana And Witan Sulaeman Play, FK Senica Shaved By Spartak Trnava Trigol Without Reply
JAKARTA – Two Indonesian players Egy Maulana Vikri and Witan Sulaeman received a bitter result when FK Senica met Spartak Trnava in the first leg of the Slovak Cup semifinal. Neither could help his team avoid defeat or win.
Egy and Witan played since the first minute in the match which was held at City Arena Trnava on Thursday, April 7th. However, these two Indonesian players had to see their team lose 0-3 to the home team.
In that match, the suffering of Egy and his friends began with an own goal from Senica Petr Pavlik's players in the 16th minute. It was the only goal for Trnava until the referee blew the whistle to mark the match at half-time.
In the second half of the match, FK coach Senica Petr Sustr decided to make changes for his team. He pulled out Egy Maulana Vikri and brought in midfielder Abdoulaye Ouattara.

However, this change did not have much effect as Trnava could even score in the 53rd minute. Luckily the goal scored by Stanislav Olejnik was not approved by the referee because after the intervention of the video assistant referee (VAR) it was discovered that the goal was preceded by a violation.
Effort after effort was made by Senica to make a return goal still to no avail. Their goal actually conceded a second goal in the 72nd minute through a goal scored by Sebastian Kosa.
Sustr made another change in the team after his squad trailed by two goals. He decided to withdraw three players at once including Witan Sulaeman, but again did not provide significant results.
Senica conceded again in the final minutes of the match, to be precise in injury time. This time it was Dyjan Azevedo who recorded his name on the scoreboard to make Trnava away with a 3-0 gap that lasted until the game was over.
This defeat makes Senica's chances towards the final match clearly getting smaller. The semi-final second leg will take place on Thursday, April 21, at the FK Senica Stadium.
