JAKARTA - The management of Arema FC seems to have learned a lot from the Carlos Fortes case which was picked up by PSIS Semarang. Singo Edan moved quickly to fence off the three remaining foreign players.

Arema's management extended the contracts of Renshi Yamaguchi, Adilson Maringa, and Sergio Silva. Unmitigated, when this player was given a two-season contract.

Arema FC's media officer, Sudarmaji said, this contract extension could not be separated from the recommendation of coach Eduardo Almeida which was also maintained until the 2024 season.

Meanwhile, Arema FC respects the decision of Hanif Sjahbandi and Diego Michels who chose not to extend the contract. Hanif moved to Persija Jakarta, while Diego was still a question mark.

Sudarmaji said the two had considerations regarding their future. Moreover, both contracts at Arema FC have ended.
