Retired Since November 2021, Valentino Rossi: I Don't Miss MotoGP
JAKARTA - Valentino Rossi decided to retire after the Valencia MotoGP title in November 2021. He ended his career in the most prestigious race in the world with a sweet nick.
Now Valentino Rossi is enjoying his retirement. The Doctor feels happy to be able to watch motorcycle races from home, without having to go down to the track.
"I thought, 'how lucky not to be on the track'. Last year, I really wanted to stop in Valencia in a fun way, and I was successful," said Valentino Rossi, as quoted by GPOne.
"So, now I love watching GP races from my couch. I'm a big fan of motorcycle racing. I like watching them everywhere, and I'm happy to support our riders," he continued.

Rossi doesn't seem to regret deciding to retire from MotoGP. He felt, his condition was not possible to return to race in the most prestigious class in the world.
According to him, someone must appear in MotoGP with a purpose. To achieve that, the rider must be at 100 percent.
"Let's be serious. When you go into MotoGP you have to do it with purpose, because it's very brutal, where the bike goes very fast, and it doesn't make sense to go with only 75 percent. I don't miss MotoGP," Rossi said.
Rossi decided to retire last year after the last race at the Valencia Circuit. He ended his 26 season career, be it in the 125cc, 250cc, or 500cc/MotoGP classes.
During his career in grand Prix racing, Valentino Rossi collected nine world titles. Seven of them are MotoGP titles. Unfortunately, since 2009, he has always failed to complete his collection of world champions to 10 by the end of his career.
