Zoom Update Lets You Go Live To Twitch

JAKARTA - Zoom announced an update on its app on Wednesday, March 23. This update includes new features to help you connect, collaborate, and share with others.

“Includes our new Avatar feature, the ability to send video messages, improvements to our Contact Center, and more!” wrote Manager, UCaaS Product Marketing Zoom, Theresa Larkin in the official announcement.

Another new zoom feature also lets you stream live to Twitch. Zoom says the feature is meant to streamline the process of sharing content within their community and expand their reach.

Account owners and admins can now allow hosts to livestream their meetings or webinars to Twitch live.

Hosts can now share computer audio, along with shared content, across all group workspaces. This feature can be enabled by the home host starting to share content, or while sharing is in progress.

In chat messages, you can now customize sidebars and folders to group chats and channels. The folder feature allows users to group and organize their own channels and chats in up to 200 folders, as well as organize chats and channels within those folders. This feature is scheduled to be available on March 28, 2022.

Next up is the Video message feature. This feature allows users to record and send video messages within Zoom Chat, providing another way to communicate when you need to provide additional details or a carefully crafted response.
