Receive Cipayung Plus Audience, Jokowi Offered National House Program

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received an audience of 12 student organizations that are members of the Cipayung Plus Group. The hearing was held at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 23.

Chairman of the Executive Board of the Islamic Student Association (PB HMI) Raihan Ariatama said the national house program was the mainstay of the student organization group.

"We will carry out the National Home program, which is our mainstay program during this period to maintain and maintain our unity and integrity because Indonesia is very diverse," said Raihan after a virtual meeting with the President, Wednesday, March 23.

Raihan explained that the program also aims to increase the capacity of young people in the creative economy and digitalization.

"Hopefully there will be seeds, young shoots in Indonesia in the future that are ready to support the development of our nation's journey in the future," he explained.

In addition, the Cipayung Plus Group also conveyed the issue of stability in the price of basic commodities which has become a concern for the public in the last few months.

President Jokowi, said Raihan, welcomed the commitment and contribution of the students in providing ideas so that the prices of basic commodities remained stable.

The Head of State also advised the Cipayung Plus Group that as young people, they must continue to be creative and innovate, but not abandon their integrity.

"The government is also ready to collaborate with the Cipayung Plus Group to maintain and care for our nation in the future," he concluded.
