Bulk Cooking Oil In Klungkung Bali Is Scarce
KLUNGKUNG - Stocks of bulk cooking oil in traditional and modern markets in Klungkung Regency, Bali, are getting scarce. But stock of packaged or premium oil is still available.
"The packaging, such as Bimoli and so on in the market, is in supermarkets. But now the bulk oil is empty," said I Wayan Ardiasa as Head of the Trade Industry SME Cooperative Service, Klungkung Regency, Bali, Wednesday, March 23.
It is not yet known why the stock of bulk cooking oil can move in Klungkung. This condition has been going on for 3 days.
The price of bulk cooking oil in the market ranges from IDR 15 thousand to IDR 16 thousand per liter. Meanwhile, packaged cooking oil has the highest price of IDR 24 thousand
"Now (bulk oil) there is no shipment," said Ardiasa.
"Hopefully the oil will be available at a price of IDR 14 thousand to IDR 15 thousand. Hopefully, today (there is), that's what I was monitoring three days ago," he said.

Meanwhile, Klungkung Police Chief I Made Dhanuardana said his party was still monitoring the scarcity of bulk cooking oil stocks.
"Yes, we are still monitoring from upstream to downstream, what is the cause of the scarcity. We are still exploring this," he said separately.
The police have also checked the availability of bulk and packaged cooking oil stocks to maintain supply stability so as not to panic the public.
"So the role of the food task force must be in synergy from all, not only from the police. We maintain that stability so that people don't panic, from distributors (to) the community and small traders. That's what we take care of," said Dhanuardana.
Regarding the supply of bulk cooking oil, the Police Chief asked residents not to panic. The police chief confirmed that bulk cooking oil stock was available.
"Our availability is still there. (Already) explained by the Minister of Trade and Industry we still have a lot of stock," he said.
